Where to purchase AI solutions for industry-specific applications in the UK?

I have six things to say about this:
1. I’m not sure how a company that sells software to lawyers can triple in valuation to $6B in four months. 2025 revenue was just $23M. This is not unique to Legora, there are other AI SaaS tools that do “one thing” with these odd valuations. It only makes sense to the previous round of investors.
2. AI SaaS is not the future. SaaS is not dead but it is starting to feel a little tired in the morning. Custom AI solutions on a private and governed information platform are the future.
3. What on earth do they spend the money on? Cost of coding has collapsed. I reckon it’s crazy sales commission to keep the net ARR climbing.
4. If anyone out there is considering Legora or Harvey, we we have built several legal agents on our platform. Ours cost just £500 per month for an agent company wide, not £thousands, hosted on your Azure subs with AI Foundry. Legora is £100k pa minimum starting price.
5. I have spoken with real enterprise AI teams that have tried Legora and others. Standard LLMs often perform better than these tools.
6. Would you copy all of your legal contracts and IP to a two-year old startup? What about vendor lock-in on your workflows? What if they change the product features and you don’t like it?
This smells of bubble.
Before you buy any AI SaaS tool, let’s talk.
